5-2-28 Initialization
This erases all settings and restores the initial settings set at the factory.
Setting content is not saved even by initialization, so if you want to retain the initialized
state after power is turned off, execute "Save". (See page 5-41.)
1. Display the system screen.
Touch on the MENU Screen and display the system screen.
2. Touch to display the Initialize screen.
3. Execute initialization by touching .
If you do not want to execute initialization, return to the system
screen by touching
or return to the MENU screen by
touching .
4. When execution is completed, the screen changes to the
end screen.
When initialization is completed, the screen changes to the end
screen. Return to the MENU screen by touching
.
Do not turn power off until the screen changes to the end screen.
If power is turned off before that, it could result in data being
destroyed and the system being unable to start normally, so
exercise caution.
See default values on page 5-44 for their content.
z Supplementary Explanation
• Setting content are not saved even by initialization, so if you want to retain the initialized

• When initialization is executed with timing input terminal short-circuit, open the input
terminal or change input operation (see page 5-34), as the laser is not emitted due to
timing input state.
