The blades move and the
MOISTURIZING lamp (white)
blinks once every 2 seconds.
•The lamp does not blink if the
ion level is “OFF.”

Shave beard while holding top
of ion plate against skin�
Hold the main body firmly to
make full contact with the ion
panel (rear).
When contact with the skin is detected, the
MOISTURIZING lamp (white) changes from blinking
to glowing, and the moisturizing ingredients
penetrate into the keratin layer.
•Shaving speed: approximately 1 second/cm
•The penetrating effect will not be attained if it is
blinking once every 2 seconds.
• If there is insufficient lotion and the appliance
becomes difficult to slide or it has difficulty
detecting the skin, apply more lotion.
•If there is any skin discomfort, turn the ion level to
“LOW” when using the appliance. (See page 45.)
•See page 45 to change the temperature level.

Note
•Depending on the beard thickness or the viscosity or
amount of lotion, lotion containing beard trimmings or
hair may remain on the skin.
Wipe clean with a tissue. (Washing your face will
reduce the penetrating effect of the lotion.)
Wash the main body with water after each use, and
apply oil to the blades.
Tips for better shaving
Apply the whole system outer foil and
ion plate top perpendicularly against
the skin and shave by slowly gliding
the shaver over the face against the
grain of the beard.
•The beard under the chin and
around the throat can be shaved
better by stretching the skin so the
beard will stand.

•To prevent damaging the system
outer foil, do not shave with only a
part of the system outer foil.
