9.12. Removing the Reclining Lift Unit
1. Remove the armrests (see 9.1).
2. Remove the rear cover (see 9.2).
3. Remove the seat cushion (see 9.3).
4. Remove the back cover (see 9.4).
5. Remove the under box cover (see 9.6)
6. Remove the blue reclining lift unit connecting cord (CN951/CN953) and the earth terminal from the Sub PCB.
7. Remove three push-turn rivets attached to the lift protecting fabric, the front seat cover (black molded cover), and the seat
frame unit.
8. Remove the screws (one each on right and left) attached to the front seat cover (black molded cover).
9. Remove five cable ties attached to the reclining lift unit connecting cord removed in step 9.12.6, then two lift pins and two
snap pins from the reclining lift unit. Finally, remove the reclining lift unit.
Caution:
• During assembly, insert the lift pin in the direction of the arrow, then fix the snap pin in place.
• Performing steps 9.12.8 and 9.12.9 makes the process easier to complete.
