Setting the keyguard
The keyguard stops the keypad being accessed.
Select Keyguard .
You are asked ‘ Guard Keypad ?’. Press

You can also set the keyguard directly from the idle screen:

To turn off the keyguard:

Changing the key volume
The key volume is the volume of the tone made when you press a key.
Select Key Volume .
Use

to move the volume level between 0 and 4.
Changing the key tone
The key tone is the sound made when you press a key.
Select Key Tone .
Select the tone you want.
Choosing the key to use for the answer key
You can choose whether to use any key (except
E
,
Q
,
g
) or just the send key (
D
) to
answer a call.
Select Answer Key .
Select Any Key or Send Key .
Note: When the keyguard is on, you must turn it off before you can use the phone.
