Connecting to a television with S VIDEO terminal
Connecting to a television with COMPONENT VIDEO terminals
Higher Picture Quality with Component Video or S Video Terminals
• If you select “No”‚ you can proceed to
“Set Clock Manually” (
step 10‚ below).
The S VIDEO OUT terminal achieves a more vivid picture than the VIDEO OUT terminal.
COMPONENT VIDEO OUT terminals provide a clearer picture than the S VIDEO OUT terminal.
• If the correct time is displayed
• Please refer to “Basic Operations”
(pages 6 to 12) in the operating
instructions.
When the picture on the
TV is poor, switch the TV to
channel 4. Also change this
unit’s front display to CH4.
When nothing is displayed,
change the TV channel to
video input. Then turn this
unit’s front display to “OFF”.
Press [ENTER] to start automatic
clock and channel setting.
In addition to the DVD/VHS COMMON output terminals, this unit includes COMPONENT and
S VIDEO outputs.
If your television has COMPONENT video inputs or an S VIDEO input, please connect either in
addition to the AV outputs for optimum picture quality and convenience.
