if a rainbow pattern generator is available perform the following procedure; the next section

Make sure that sub-contrast adjustment was finished prior to perform this adjustment.

PREPARATION

1. Normalize the picture settings.

2. Set the BRIGHTNESS control to minimum.

3. Set the COLOR control to the center.

4. Set the TINT control to the center.

5. Set the PICTURE control to the maximum.

6. Set the SHARPNESS control to the minimum.
