Make sure that the lock lever (

is flush with the mounting collar
(not projecting outward).

Secure the rear of the unit.

After fixing Mounting Bolt

and Power

Connector

, fix the rear of the unit to

the car body by either method (a) or (b)
shown at right.

Insert Trim Plate

After installation reconnect the
negative (–) battery terminal.

Insert Mounting Collar

into

the dashboard, and bend the
mounting tabs out with a screw-
driver.

When bending the mounting tab of the mount-
ing collar with a screwdriver, be careful not to
injure your hands and fingers.
