What to do to prevent trouble
•
Do not disassemble or remodel the unit.
•
Do not place heavy objects on top of it.
•
Do not leave the unit standing in direct sunlight.
•
Do not spill fruit juices or other liquids onto it.
What to do to prevent trouble
•
Set the operation of the wireless remote controller to “enable” at the camera.
•
Operate the unit at a distance of less than 10 m (32.8 ft.) from the camera.
•
It may not be possible to operate the camera using the unit depending on the angle at which the unit is
pointed at the camera.
Point the unit’s signal transmission window at the camera’s signal light-sensing area, and then use the
unit to operate the camera.
Point the unit at any angle ranging from +30° to –30° of the camera’s light-sensing area.
•
If the camera is installed near fluorescent lights, plasma monitors or other such products or if the camera
is exposed to sunlight, the effects of the light may make it impossible for the camera to be operated using
the unit.
Be sure to follow the steps below for installation and use.
• Take steps to ensure that the camera’s signal light-sensing area will not be exposed to the light from
fluorescent lights, plasma monitors or other such products or from the sun.
• Install the unit away from fluorescent lights, plasma monitors and other such products.
•
Check the ID setting on the camera.
The IR ID switch settings “CAM1” to “CAM4” correspond to the CAMERA1 to 4 buttons on the wireless
remote control.
For information on the settings of IR ID switches, refer to the operating instructions of the
camera.
