5.2 Site Survey

Note:
Tentative installation date is usually determined at time of system sale. FCC license information is also obtained
during this time
Check
[ ] Call store to schedule time with store owner/manager.
[ ] Arrive at store and explain to owner/manager what areas of store you need access.
[ ] Select Center Module location (high on wall, not adjacent to metal walls and free from vibrators.
[ ] Conform :
A 120 AC duplex outlet with ground, preferably dedicated, provided within 6ft of Center Module.
Speaker/Microphone/Loop cable long enough to reach from Center module to speaker post. (150ft Max). Unobstructed
conduit (no cables containing AC voltage) provide from Speaker post/Menuboard to inside store, near to Center module
location. Vehicle loop coil is installed or another type of vehicle detection. An existing, compatible vehicle detector at store
(This is the electric box, usually loop coil or other type vehicle sensor outside). Existence of continues, dry contact closure
with a vehicle present on the loop coil. Panasonic microphone (5.6”x5.6”x5.6”) will fit menuboard speaker post. Location
for mounting Battery Charger. Suspended ceiling does not require additional wiring routing concerns.
