Overview
This buildup adapter is for use with the buildup unit (AK-HBU3500) and viewfinder (AK-HVF985B).
The viewfinder (AK-HVF985B) can be mounted by mounting the buildup adapter onto the buildup unit.

Operating precautions

Be absolutely sure to supply the buildup adapter’s
power from the buildup unit.

Handle the unit carefully.
Dropping the unit or subjecting it to strong impact may
cause malfunctioning and/or accidents.

Operate the unit within a temperature range of 14 °F
(–10 °C) to 113 °F (+45 °C).

Be absolutely sure to turn off the power before
connecting this unit to the buildup unit.

When using the unit in windy or snowy conditions or
at the beach or at the waterfront, cover it with the rain
cover (optional accessory) or protect it in some other
way in order to prevent it from getting wet and stop
water from seeping inside.

Install the unit at a distance of at least 1 meter from
the monitor.

Maintenance
Disconnect the power plug, and wipe the unit with a dry
cloth. To remove stubborn dirt, soak a cloth in diluted
kitchen detergent and wring it out well, and then wipe the
unit gently.

Avoid using benzine, paint thinners and other volatile
fluids.

If a chemical cleaning cloth is to be used, carefully
read through the precautions for its use.
