LCD screen indicators

The screen shown below appears when the PIC.SIZE switch is set to AUTO. 

 

The indicators are not displayed when the switch is set to FULL.

The error display

 is displayed when an error occurs in the viewfinder, regardless of the PIC.SIZE switch setting.

Note

What is displayed by the indicators on the screen depends on the camera used in combination 

with the viewfinder. For details, refer to the operating instructions of the camera.

  Green tally indicator

Lights up green when the green tally signal is received.

The conditions under which this indicator lights will differ depending on the camera settings.

  ! indicator

The conditions under which the ! indicator lights can be set using the ! LED item of the menu of the camera unit.

Use this indicator to avoid making operating errors during various operations, for instance.

  Amber tally indicator

Lights up amber when the amber tally signal is received.

  Yellow tally indicator

Lights up yellow when the yellow tally signal is received.

  TALLY/REC indicator

Lights up red while recording is underway or when the red tally signal is received.

It blinks red when trouble has occurred.

The conditions under which this indicator lights and blinks will differ depending on the camera settings.

  BATT indicator

Indicates the status of the battery in the camera. The conditions under which this indicator lights and 

blinks will differ depending on the camera settings.

  SAVE indicator

Blinks or lights up depending on the settings of the camera. The conditions for blinking or lighting up 

change according to the settings of the camera.

  Error display

Displayed when an error occurs in the viewfinder. If the problem is not resolved by turning off power to 

the camera, stop using the viewfinder and consult your dealer.

HEATER ERROR : 

 

 

Displayed when an error occurs in the operation of the heater inside the viewfinder.

SENSOR ERROR : 

 

Displayed when an error occurs in the operation of the temperature sensor in the 

viewfinder.
