9.4  File System Download 

The firmware must be downloaded first before proceeding with the file system download. 

Procedures to download the file system: 

1.  Connect your PC to the display unit via the USB and start EBLWin. 
2.  In EBLWin, click 

Tools / Download software

 to open the EBL Firmware Manager. 

3.  Select the 

“Display unit (5054) file system”

 tab as shown below. 

 

4.  Browse to the file system location in your PC to be downloaded, 

DU5054_x.x.x_FS.bin

. You must select the correct file extension. 

Note

: When you browse to select the FS.bin file, ensure to select the correct extension as shown 

below 

 

5.  Select COM Port as per section 9.3 above. 
6.  Click 

Start

 to download the file system, the following window will be shown 

 

7.  When the download is completed, the pop-up dialog “Download completed 

successfully” will be shown, click 

“OK

” and the display unit will restart. 

Note

: The boot mode is not required when you download the file system. 

 

Note

: Following a new firmware download, a new file system download must be performed.
