Single-digit Method (highest Program Number is 9)
This allows numbers 0 ~ 9 ONLY and is useful for limiting the number of channels if you
do not mind some channels on the wrong number (10 and 28 could be put on 1 and 0, for
instance).
Press the PAGE UP ( +) button (12) on the remote control until the symbol "-"
appears on the screen This is single digit mode.
The TV set tunes forty numbers and it is possible to put any channel on any number.
There are two ways to choose the channel number you want-the single-number method and
the double-number method.
The Keypad Numbers 0 ~ 9 on the remote control may be used. For numbers over 9, use
the two-digit method or press PR (-/+) below.
Press PR (-/+) on the control panel or the remote control. The Program Number will
increase or decrease from 0 to 39 one at a time, and will be shown in the upper left corner
of the screen.
Two-digit Method
Press the PAGE UP ( +) button (12) so that the symbol "--" appears on the
screen.
Use the Number Keypad. If you want to select channel 28, press button "2" and then
button "8" If you want channel 6, press button "0" and then button "6". The numbers will
be shown in the upper left corner of the screen as shown.
Press PR (-/+) on the control panel or the remote control. The Program Number will in
crease or decrease from 00 to 39 one at a time, and will be shown in the upper left corner
of the screen.
TUNING CHANNELS
Open the door at the front of the set.
Press the SEARCH BUTTON once. The set will scan the television bands to find a TV
station, searching VHF-1, VHF-3 and UHF in order starting from the present channel. If
you want to stop the scan, simply press one of the PR (-/+) buttons.
* Green bars will be shown on the screen, and increase step by step as the set scans.
