If the battery is installed, remove it. 
Slide your finger under the top of the 
battery (nearest the camera lens) and lift 
up.

Hold the SIM card with its metal 
contacts facedown and its notch aligned 
with the notch of the cutout in the 
compartment, and slide the SIM card 
into the cutout.
