Check pouch is at front of waist before inflating.

Grasp pull handle and pull firmly downwards to inflate - the bladder will inflate and
burst out of pouch.

Once fully inflated, place over head with CO
2
cylinder facing away from you, knot
tapes under your chin, and tighten connector strap to provide snug fit.
• Bladder can be topped up by blowing into inflation tube.
• Inflate bladder while wearing pouch - do not remove pouch before inflating.
• Bladder can be inflated before or after entering water.
How to repack after inflation
• After each inflation and before repacking, re-arm the bladder with a full 24 g CO
2
cylinder and replace the indicator, according to its instructions.
• Before repacking, ensure all air is removed from the bladder - push cap of inflation
tube into valve to expel air.
• Follow directions printed on bladder for folding and repacking into pouch.

Folded bladder must be inserted into pouch with CO
2
cylinder facing front of pouch
and pull handle pointing toward bottom of pouch.
• Close velcro flaps to secure bladder.
• Ensure pull handle is outside as shown on pouch, and easily accessible.

Care, maintenance and storage
• After each use, rinse in cool, fresh water.
• Do not expose to temperatures greater than 50ºC.
• Inspect and test this device at the beginning of each season and prior to a lengthy
outing.
• Check inflatable bladder before each use for tears or punctures.
• Orally inflate the bladder to check for leaks.
• If there is any indication of damage to the bladder or leaking, do not use this PFD.
