Powering up
The access point can be powered by PoE+ or by the included power adapter.
To power up the access point:
1
Connect power using a POE+ injector, a POE+ switch, or the included power
adapter.
The access point should now be up and running with its default settings. It does
not need to be configured to be functional. To make changes to the SSID and
security settings, you need to access the AP using a web browser.
Note:
The PoE+ port may be considered a SELV circuit if It is not likely to require
a connection to an Ethernet network with outside plant routing (including a
campus environment) and if the ITE is to be connected only to PoE+ networks
without routing to the outside plant.
