Customer Loop HLU (CREM).
The Customer Loop HLU (CREM) option allows you to send a
Customer Remote (CREM) loopback from the line unit (remote) towards the customer interface. To
send a CREM loopback, press <G> in the Loopback menu.
The following prompt appears:
PLEASE WAIT................
A series of dots moves from left to right indicating that the command has been issued. When this
process completes, the system returns to the Main menu. CREM now appears next to the Loopback
Mode in the Main menu. The loopback continues to cycle in the system depending upon your
Loopback Timeout setting. You can always go back to the Loopback menu and press A to disable the
CREM loopback.

Customer Loop HRU (CLOC).
The Customer Loop HRU (CLOC) option allows you to send a
Customer Local (CLOC) loopback from the remote unit (local) towards the customer interface. To
send a CLOC loopback, press <H> in the Loopback menu.

Customer Loop Doubler 1.
The Customer Loop Doubler 1 (CDU1) option allows you to send a
CDU1 loopback at the first doubler towards the CI. To send a CDU1 loopback, press <I> in the
Loopback menu.

process completes, the system returns to the Main menu. CDU1 now appears next to the Loopback
Mode in the Main menu. The loopback continues to cycle in the system depending upon your
