7. Place included metal spacer/support over top of the left-hand side post located on the front burner
(Figure 75). This spacer will support the front tip of log number two.
Note: Spacer may already be
present and pre-fastened to the burner.
8. Place the number one log (Figure 55) on top of the air deflector / 1st log support (Figure 76) making sure
that the back side of this log is up against the rear wall (Figure 77)
9. Distribute a thin layer of ember pieces (Figure 62) onto the front and rear burner trays (Figure 78). Place
extra ember pieces on the thin, but noticeable gaps between the front base piece and the two side base
pieces (Figure 79). Keep the ember pieces from interfering with the pilot assembly. Keep the ember pieces
from falling into the air gaps between the front and rear burners and the gap between the rear burner and
the air deflector which supports the first log (Figure 80).
