Adjusting the visor, fig. J
You can adjust the distance between the visor
②
and your face by moving the visor
manually (see fig. J).
Alternatively, you can flip the visor
②
all the way up.
Using
1.
To ensure proper protection, adjust the forestry safety helmet to your head size
by means of the 4-point suspension harness as well as with the chin band. Make
sure the helmet fits comfortably to your head. To open and adjust the harness,
squeeze the fastener with your thumb and forefinger and pull out the strap with
the other hand.
2.
Adjust the ear muffs to your ears and remove long hair from the cushion surfaces
or tie up long hair.
3.
Always fold down the face protector when there is a foreseeable risk to be hit by
any hard or sharp flying particles.
Cleaning and Storing
•
Clean the forestry safety helmet with a lightly moistened cloth and allow all parts of
the helmet to air dry. To thoroughly clean each part of the forestry safety helmet,
remove these parts and clean. Make sure to properly reattach the forestry safety
helmet after cleaning.
•
The shelf life of the forestry safety helmet is affected by many factors such as extreme
cold and heat, chemicals, extreme sunlight and misuse. We recommend replacing the
forestry safety helmet every 2 years.
•
For disinfecting the ear muffs, preferably use rubbing alcohol and wipe all parts of the
ear protectors with a moistened cloth.
Store the forestry safety helmet in dry and dust-free environment.
