Power requirements
AC single phase 230 V 50/60 Hz with a 16 A fuse, alternatively an earth leak
circuit breaker.
WARNING
•
High-voltage hazard from power source, Consult with a qualified electrician for
the correct installation of the socket. The welding apparatus must have an
earth connection when used to protect the user against electric shock.
•
Do not remove the earth cable and do not make any alterations of any kind to
the plug. Do not use any kind of adapter between the welding apparatus’s
power cable and the power plug. Ensure that the ON/OFF switch is set to OFF
when the equipment is connected to a power source.

Extension cable
Under normal circumstances it is not necessary to use an extension cable and it
is strongly recommended that you do not use an extension cable as this will
lead to a fall in the voltage generated. This will affect the equipment’s output. If
you are forced to use an extension cable , it must be at least 2.5 mm
2
. Do not
use an extension cable that is longer than 7.5 m.
