CHAIN OIL:
Use an oil which is specially designed for the lubrication of chains, blades and gear
drives on chain saws.
Operating the machine
It is very dangerous to use a chainsaw which has damaged or missing parts.
Before starting the motor, make sure that all parts are installed correctly,
including the saw blade and chain.
1. Fill the fuel and chain oil tanks and tighten caps securely.
(1) Chain oil
(2) Fuel
2. Set the switch to the "I" position.
3. Press the primer bulb 3–4 times.
This is the clear, thimble sized rubber ball located just below the choke.
4. Pull the choke out to the closed position until you hear a click.
At the first sign of the motor starting, press the choke back in
and repeatedly pull the starter cord. The motor will now run at
approx. ¼ power until the motor is revved, and then the chain
saw will start to idle.
5. Pull the starter cord while holding the saw safely on the ground.
6. Let the motor warm up. The chain saw will not start to idle until the motor has
warmed up and the throttle is activated.
WARNING:
Do not start the motor while holding the chain saw in one hand. The saw may
touch your body. This is very dangerous.
Keep away from the chain saw, as it will start to turn when the motor is revved.
