An oil/petrol mixture that has been unused for at least a month or more can clog the
carburettor and result in the motor not running properly.
If you are going to store the machine for a long period, drain the petrol from the fuel
system.
Filling with fuel:
1.
Unscrew the tank cap and place it on a dust-free spot.
2.
Fill the tank with fuel, up to 80% of the tank’s full capacity.
3.
Re-fit the tank cap and wipe up any spilled fuel.
WARNING
1.
Place the machine on a flat and tidy area when filling with fuel.
2.
Before starting the machine ensure that you have moved at least 3 metres away
from the location where you added the fuel.
3.
Always switch off the equipment before filling with fuel. Ensure that the fuel mix
has been stirred sufficiently in the container.
4.
If the machine has been stored for a long time with fuel in the tank, clean the
fuel tank after you have emptied the fuel tank. Next, start the engine to empty
the carburettor of fuel.
