•   While using your lawn mower always wear substantial closed, heavy

footwear, long trousers, eye and hearing protection.

•   Make sure the lawn is clear of sticks, stones, wire and debris; they could

be thrown by the blade.

•   Before using the lawn mower and after any impact, check for signs of

wear or damage and repair as necessary.

•   Replace a worn or damaged blade together with the blade bolt to

preserve balance.

•   Always ensure that a safe distance is maintained between the user and

the mower housing.

•   Be especially careful when mowing and changing direction on slopes and

inclines. Maintain a solid footing.

•   Always mow along the incline (not up and down). For safety reasons, the

lawn mower may not be used to mow inclines whose gradient exceeds

15 degrees.

•   Use special caution when backing up and pulling the lawn mower.

Tripping hazard!

WARNING!

DO NOT MOW WITH POOR VISIBILITY

CONDITIONS, IN THE RAIN OR WHEN GRASS IS
WET.

Start mowing the edge of the

lawn and work along making

sure to overlap each pass by a

few centimetres.

When mowing long grass

be sure to not overload the

motor.  First cut with the

highest cutting height and

then to the desired height.

This will help reduce the load.

Lawn Mowing Tips

Drive Unit

When the drive lever is pressed the

clutch for the drive will be closed and

the mower will start to move with the

motor running. Release the drive lever

in good time to stop the moving mower.

Practice starting and stopping before

you use the mower for the first time

until you are familiar with controlling

the mower.

Note:

The drive unit only operates if the motor is switched on. You

therefore have to start the motor each time.

Setting the Speed

The driving speed of the mower can be

adjusted to various different settings.

To do so, push the speed lever forward

until the desired speed is reached. If

the speed lever is in the fully forward

position in the driving direction, the

mower will move at maximum speed.

Note:

It is recommended to set the

speed to the length of the grass you

want to cut. The longer the grass, the slower the speed you should select.
