OPERATION
CAUTION: Before attempting to use your sander be sure to familiarise yourself
with all its operating features and safety requirements.
WARNING! The sander should always be disconnected from the power supply
when assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning or when the tool is not
in use. Disconnecting the sander will prevent accidental starting that could
cause serious injury.
Trigger Switch
1. To turn the sander on, depress the trigger switch (1).
2. To turn the sander off, release the trigger switch (1).
Lock On Switch
To turn the sander on, depress the trigger switch (1), then depress the lock on button
(2). Release the trigger switch (1) first, then release the lock on button (2).
To turn the sander off, depress and then release the trigger switch (1), disengaging the
lock on button (2).
Variable Speed Dial
The variable speed control (3) is located on the trigger switch (1).
1. Adjust the variable speed control (3) to suit different working materials.
2. Turn the variable speed control (3) in the direction of the plus (+) marked on the
trigger switch (1) for faster speed. Turn the variable speed control (3) in the
direction of the minus (-) marked on the trigger switch (1), for slower speed.
3. Determine the optimum speed by trialling on a scrap piece of timber.
Note: Using the correct speed for the job increases the life of the sanding sheet.
