Whilst holding the spindle lock button (8) use the
17mm side of the double ended spanner (19) to
remove the cutting disc bolt 

Note: 

The cutting disc bolt unscrews in an anti-

clockwise direction (Fig. 12).

Remove the cutting disc bolt and washer (Fig. 13).

Then retract the lower guard (4) and remove the outer
flange and cutting disc (7) (Fig. 14).

Clean any grinding dust from the inner flange and,
after checking that it is in good condition, mount a new
cutting disc (7) onto the adaptor washer.

Caution: 

Check the cutting disc (7) for cracks and

damage prior to assembly.

Replace the outer flange, washer and cutting disc bolt.
Tighten the cutting disc bolt in a clockwise direction.

Turn the new cutting disc (7) by hand, ensuring that it rotates fully and does not
wobble unduly.

Refit the blade access cover (5) and tighten the blade
access cover wing nut (Fig. 15).
