Switching The Unit On & Off
1. Press the on/off button to
switch the meter on.
2. Press the on/off button again
to switch the unit off.
Note:
The unit will automatically
switch off after 5 minutes of
inactivity.
Backlight
Press the backlight button to
toggle the function on or off.
Datahold Function
1. Press the hold button to lock
the angle measurement on
screen. The ‘HOLD’ icon will
appear on the display.
Note:
Adjusting the measuring
arm with the hold function on will
not change the value on screen.
2. Press the hold button again to resume taking measurements.
Note:
The ‘HOLD’ icon
will disappear and the
value displayed will update
according to the position of the
measurement arm.
Locking The Measuring Arm
1. Turn the angle knob anti-
clockwise to loosen it.
2. Adjust the measuring arm as
necessary.
3. Turn the angle knob clockwise
to hold the measuring arm in
position.
Using The Spirit Levels
The unit can also be used as a level.
1. Place the angle level on the surface.
2. Adjust the surface until the bubbles are directly in the centre of the
spirit tubes.
