Cleaning & Maintenance
Cleaning your Refrigerator
Always switch the appliance power supply off or unplug it before you start to begin
cleaning or maintenance.
Do NOT clean the appliance by pouring/running water through it. This will cause
damage to the parts and consequently break the refrigerator.
The interior surfaces should be cleaned periodically to avoid odours and cross
contamination.
Wash the shelves and trays with a mild detergent solution and warm water. Do NOT put
them in the dishwasher.
Wash the outside of the refrigerator with a mild detergent and warm water.
When cleaning the controls or any of the electrical parts, be sure to wring the water out
of the cleaning tool you are using.
Leave to stand un-plugged for twenty-four hours after cleaning to avoid the risk of
electric shock. Once the appliance has dried, reconnect the appliance to the power
supply with dry hands and switch the appliance on.
If the appliance is going to be left switched off for any length of time, clean the interior
and prop the door open to prevent a build-up of odour.
Moving Your Refrigerator
Turn the temperature to OFF, unplug the refrigerator and remove the food shelves and
trays.
Remove or securely tape down all loose items inside your refrigerator.
Tape the door shut to avoid it swinging open whilst moving.
Be sure the refrigerator stays secure in an upright position during transportation. Also,
protect the outside of the refrigerator with a blanket or similar item.
