Before using the appliance for the first time, rinse the inside of the urn with warm water,
without detergent. This is to remove any potential manufacturing oils/dust from the inside of
the boiler.
Before First Use
Filling With Water
1. Remove the lid by turning the handle clockwise.
2. Fill the boiler with the desired amount of water, making sure not to fill past the
“
MAX
”
level
indicator. Do not under-fill, as this will cause the overheat protection to operate.
3, Connect the boiler to a suitable mains supply.
4. Press the
“
ON/OFF
”
switch and the water boiler will begin to heat. Do not remove the lid
during the heating cycle.
Dispensing
When the water is hot, use the water lever to dispense water into a suitable
mug/cup/container. Ensure all loose fingers are kept well away from the tap whilst in
operation, as the water will be very hot.
*The Heating light will switch off when the water has reached boiling point
–
the
“
Keep
Warm
”
light will appear when the temperature has cooled down slightly and the appliance is
attempting to re-heat the water.
