Odour Neutralization through Ozone
Inside the Freshair, UV-C radiation converts a small proportion of
the oxygen in the air into ozone. One characteristic of ozone is to
oxidize organic substances in the air. This way, indoor air and surface
microorganisms as well as smells are completely eliminated.

UV-C Radiation

Before opening the case of the Freshair, the device must be
switched off and electricity supply disconnected from the power plug.
• When opening the case during running operation, there is the danger
of optical radiation through UV rays. This can lead to extremely
painful conjunctivitis and skin irritations!
2. General Safety Stipulations and Cautionary Notes
Carefully read this operating manual prior to putting into operation your
Freshair and absolutely adhere to the following safety stipulations:
• Only connect the Freshair to a
230
-Volt network connection that
is grounded.
• The Freshair is unsuitable for outdoor use and may not come into
contact with water.
• The Freshair must not be used in areas with heavy dust generation
or explosion-prone vapour mixtures.
• The Freshair must not come into contact with lubricants.
• The Freshair may only be used in rooms with a minimum size of
