This section provides an overview of the Sona and Marana. Please note that Sona configuration is shown below 
which will also cover the Marana model. Please refer to the additional information supplied for details of any model 
specific differences.

Lens Mount

The Sona and Marana 4.2B-6 feature a C-mount as standard (other adapters are available).

Sensor

The Sona and Marana feature high resolution sCMOS 4.2 Megapixel back illuminated sCMOS sensors. Andor’s 
unique UltraVac

TM

 vacuum technology has been utilized. UltraVac provides a permanent hermetically sealed enclosure 

so that the QE and cooling performance can be maintained over many years operation.

Camera Window

There is a single AR coated UV grade silica window for optimum transmission. For more information on camera 
windows please see
