The appropriate PCIe card should be installed in the PC for either USB 3.0 cable or fibre optic connection.

USB 3.0

•

Connect the USB 3.0 cable from the iKon-XL to a suitable USB 3.0 slot on the control PC.

Fibre Optic

•

Connect the fibre optic cable from the iKon-XL to the fibre optic input of the PCIe card of the control PC.

•

Always ensure that the fibre optic cable is installed before switching on the camera.

•

Fibres can easily be damaged by bending or general mishandling. Take care when routing cables to avoid tight
bends and strain on the connections. Refer to further handling guidelines in the preface of this manual.

Standard fibre length: 15 m

Option fibre length: 25 and 100 m
