TROUBLESHOOTING
If
you
are
experiencing
any
problems
with
your
monitor,
please
try
some
of
the
following
troubleshoo ng
steps
before
contac ng
customer
support.
If
these
steps
do
not
solve
your
monitor’s
issue,
please
Overlord
Support
There
is
no
picture.
‐
Are
the
AC
adaptor
and
power
cord
properly
connected?
(See
page
12.)
‐
Press
the
power
on
bu on.
‐
Is
the
power
LED
solid
blue?
If
not
check
the
DVI
connec on
to
your
computer
(See
page
12.)
‐
When
the
power
LED
is
fl
ashing
blue
it
generally
means
there
is
no
input
signal
from
the
computer
to
the
monitor.
The
power
adaptor
is
not
working.
‐
Plug
power
adapter
into
a
wall
socket,
no
UPS/strip,
NOT
connected
to
the
display.
You
should
see
a
solid
green
light
on
the
power
adapter.
‐
As
above,
swap
power
cable
with
another
known
working
cable.
You
should
see
a
solid
green
light
on
the
power
adapter.
‐
As
above,
connect
monitor
to
the
power
adopter,
NOT
connected
to
GPU/computer
(no
DVI
connec on).
You
see
a
solid
green
light
on
the
power
adapter.
‐
As
above,
the
LED
color
on
your
monitor
should
be
solid
red
or
fl
ashing
blue
when
toggling
power
on/o
ff
.
‐
Connect
the
monitor
to
the
GPU
(computer
o
ff
).
You
should
see
a
solid
green
light
on
the
power
adapter.
‐
As
above
the
color
on
display
should
be
solid
red
or
fl
ashing
blue
when
toggling
power
on/o
ff
.
‐
Turn
on
computer—Color
on
the
power
adapter
should
be
green
and
the
monitor
LED
solid
blue.

overclock

Tempest.

When
I
overclock
my
monitor
I
hear
a
“whine”
especially
on
pages
with
predominantly
white
backgrounds.
‐
Coil
whine
can
occur
on
a
small
percentage
of
Tempests.
This
is
not
an
indica on
of
stress
or
damage,
but
rather
is
the
ming
controller
chokes
vibra ng.
