USING YOUR KETTLE
• Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX level, boil it, and then
empty and rinse with fresh water. Repeat a couple of times to remove
production dust, etc.
• Wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth.
• Press the Lid Release Button to open the lid and pour water into the kettle.
(It is also possible to fill the kettle through the spout, without opening the lid.)
• Close the lid and place the kettle on the base.
• Switch the kettle on. The indicator light then lights up.
• The kettle will switch off automatically after water boils. However, it may be
switched off at any time by moving the ON/ OFF switch to the off position.
CAUTION: Do not operate the kettle on an inclined plane.
Do not operate the kettle unless the element is fully immersed.
Do not move while the kettle is switched on.
WARNING: Do not remove the lid while water is boiling.
• Never open the lid in the course of the boiling process. Make sure the lid is
firmly closed when pouring out water.
CLEANING TIPS
• Always unplug power base cord before cleaning and allow the jar to cool
down first.
• The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly
damp cloth without additives.
• Never immerse the appliance in water. Never put the appliance in a
dishwasher.
• Make sure that the electrical connections do not become damp.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the appliance do not use
alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning. Use a soft cloth and a
mild detergent.
