6. Operating instructions
Warnings
● Ensure you have assembled the appliance according to instructions before using.
● Never use in a building, garage, shed or other enclosed areas.
● Never obstruct the ventilation air around the grill.
Before lighting
Inspect the hose before turning the gas on. If there is evidence of cuts or wear, replace it
before using. Check for leakages before using. Do not use the grill if you smell gas.
Lighting instructions:
1. Ensure the valve dial is off by turning anticlockwise until it stops.
2. Attach the regulator (large end of the hose) to the cylinder. Ensure it is secure.
3. Extend the hose to its full length and ensure the propane is as far as safely possible from the
fire bowl.
4. Slowly turn the valve to high and push ignite to light the fire pit.
5. Once lit, release the control knob. If you want to lower the temperature, push in the control
knob and turn anticlockwise until it is low.
IF THE BURNER DOES NOT LIGHT WITHIN 30 SECONDS, TURN THE VALVE OFF AND
WAIT FOR ANY GAS TO DISAPPEAR BEFORE REPEATING. TO TURN OFF THE BURNER,
TURN THE CONTROL CLOCKWISE UNTIL IT IS OFF. THEN TURN THE GASS OFF AT THE
SOURCE.
