Status of the operating LED

Before charging:
Operating LED Meaning
LED shows green light USB charging adapter is operational
LED shows red light or is not lit USB charging adapter is defective
If the operating LED shows a green light, the individual Ottobock battery charger can be connected to the
prosthesis.
During charging:
Operating LED Meaning
LED shows green light Unrestricted charging possible
LED shows yellow/orange light
Output power of the power source with USB connection is too
low!
Only limited charging possible.
This results in longer charging times.
Please use a different power source with USB connection.
LED shows red light
The output power of the power source with USB connection is
insufficient, or the device is defective.
Charging the prosthetic component is not possible.
Please use a different power source with USB connection.
Troubleshooting

Operating LED not lit:
•
The power source with USB connection is defective.
Disconnect the USB charging adapter from the power source with USB connection and replace
it with a different one.
•
The USB cable is defective.
Disconnect the USB cable from the USB charging adapter and from the power source with USB
connection and replace it with a different one.
•
The USB charging adapter is defective.
If changing the power source with USB connection and changing the USB cable does not cause
the status of the operating LED to change, the USB charging adapter is defective.
Operating LED shows yellow/orange light:
•
The output power of the power source with USB connection is insufficient.
Disconnect the USB charging adapter from the power source with USB connection and replace
it with a power source with USB connection that can deliver a higher output current.
