1 Indications for use
The 17B98 System Ankle Joints with Lamination Adapters are to be used
exclusively
for lower limb orthotic fittings using specified lamination techniques.
2 Construction / Components
The 17B98 System Ankle Joints with Lamination Adapters can be used
together with the 17B97 System Knee Joints with Lamination Adapters
(please refer to the 647H160 Package Insert).
The foot stirrups have a modified joint head and the ankle joints include
hardened bearing nuts. As with the System lamination joint bars, the joint’s
widened surface provides improved anchoring to the fiber composite material.
The joint may be attached to reinforcement material by stitching through
the bore holes.
The two 17Y128=16x80 System Lamination Joints (also available for 20
mm joint width and 100 mm length) provide the proximal connection of dor-
siflexion assist ankle joints using the provided sidebars.
