Oticon Amigo R5 bodyworn with
Cochlear Freedom
You will need:
•
An Oticon Amigo R5 bodyworn receiver
•
A radio aid lead complete with filter (part
number DCFM15E – available from
Connevans, 600 or 900mm long).
Do
not use
an accessory adaptor cable
even if it fits.
What to do:
1.
Plug the lead into the output jack of the receiver.
2.
Turn off the Freedom processor.
3.
Put the other end of the lead into the socket at the base of the
Freedom processor, beneath the flap.
*Be very careful
inserting this plug. First look at the plug which has a quarter
‘missing’. You must line this up with the equivalent corner in
the socket. You need pretty good eyesight! It is possible to
put this in the wrong way and break the socket, so great care
needs to be taken.
4.
Turn on both the transmitter and receiver and make sure that
both units are showing the same channel.
Pull back cover and insert
lead
carefully*
