IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety instructions should 

always be followed, including the following:

1.   READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING 

2.   Use appliance only for its intended use. 

3.   To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the 

appliance in water or other liquids. 

4.   Always turn the appliance to “Off” before plugging or unplugging 

the appliance from the electrical outlet. Never yank cord to 

disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect. 

5.   Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let appliance cool 

completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely around 

appliance when storing. 

6.   Make sure unit is off, unplugged and allow it to cool completely 

before filling or cleaning. 

7.   Always disconnect appliance from electrical outlet when filling 

with water or emptying, and when not in use. 

8.   Never use the garment steamer if you have wet hands. 

9.   Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord, or if the appliance 

has been dropped or damaged. To reduce the risk of electric 

shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the appliance, take 

it to a qualified service center for examination and repair. Incorrect 

reassembly or repair could cause a risk of fire, electric shock, or 

injury to persons when the appliance is used. 

10.  Burns may occur by touching hot parts: such as nozzle, face 

plate, hot water, hot water or the steam. 

11.  DO NOT turn the nozzle faceplate upside down since hot 

steam coming out of the nozzle steam vents may cause burns if 

exposed to the face, arms or body. 

12. DO NOT bend, step on the 1.6M Flexible Hose. 

13. DO NOT use outdoor.

14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including 

children) with Reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities 

or lack of experience and knowledge. Unless they have been 

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance 

by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be 

supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.   

15.  To reduce the likelihood of circuit overload, do not operate 

another high wattage appliance on the same circuit. 

16.  If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a cord with an ampere 

rating equal to or greater than the maximum rating of the iron shall
