SYMPTOM POTENTIAL REASONS AND SOLUTIONS
Water does not boil • Kettle power base should be plugged into a 120 volt,
AC electrical outlet.
• The ON/OFF switch must be pressed downwards
to start the heating process.
• Kettle must be filled to minimum level or boil-dry
mechanism will activate.
Auto Shut-Off feature does • ON/OFF switch must be clear of obstructions. Kettle
not activate will not turn off if the switch is constrained.
• Automatic Shut-Off activates when the water boils. If the
kettle is removed from power base before water boils,
switch must be manually moved to off position.
