A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
WARNING:
Do not use an extension cord.
These appliances are for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. No user-serviceable parts
inside. Do not attempt to service these products. Do not immerse base in water
or other liquid.
This appliance has a polarized alternating current plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, as a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not insert fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still fails to fit, contact a qualified electrician.

Before using your Oster
™
Buffet Server and Warming Tray for the first time:
• Remove all packaging materials.
• You should become familiar with all of the parts. Read all Instructions and
Safeguards carefully.
• Clean the warming tray base with a mild detergent and a soft moist cloth.
DO NOT SUBMERGE THE WARMING BASE OR LET THE PLUG
COME IN CONTACT WITH WATER. DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO
SPILL OR SEEP INTO THE WARMING TRAY. Rinse and wipe dry.
• Wash chafing pans and lids in warm soapy water using a soft cloth or
sponge. Do not use abrasive cleansers or pads. Rinse and dry. Chafing pans
are dishwasher safe,
but lids are not
.
• Heat the warming base for approximately 10 minutes at a maximum setting.
NOTE:
Temporary smoking might occur. This is normal during initial use.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
• READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS before using.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put appliance in water
or other liquid.

• The use of accessory attachments not recommended or sold by the

• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not place near hot gas/electric burner or heated oven.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• It is recommended that this appliance not be moved when it contains hot
oil or other hot liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• DO NOT USE PLASTIC DISHES OR PLASTIC WRAP ON TRAY.
