4.6 Power LEDs & Link UP LED

A functional / operational backplane will illuminate

four

solid green LEDs (3v3SB; 5VSB; 5V; 12V). All four LEDs will come ON once the unit is

powered UP. The “Link UP” LED will immediately illuminate when there is a solid connection between chassis and host computer.

Standby power status LEDs are illuminated when the unit is on standby mode, this means that the expansion unit is awaiting to power up. If
you expansion unit fails to power after turning ON the host computer you may have a problem with your OSS cable, expansion card or the host
card.

You need to check your iPass cable: Reset the cable, you need to make sure the iPass cable is firmly seated into the cable port.



Check your OSS Host interface card: Reseat the card; move the card to another PCIe slot. Make sure the host card Dipswitch is set to
Host mode “OFF=HOST”



Check your OSS Expansion interface card: Make sure the Expansion card is in slot#0 and the Dipswitch is set to Expansion mode
“ON=EXP”
