Disassembly for storage of Light Unit
1.
Unplug Power Supply
.
2. Locate the four (4) Pry Slots at the joint between the DNL Can and the DNL Cap.
3. Using a Standard “Flat-Head” screwdriver, carefully separate the unit apart.
4. Unscrew the reflector assembly from the back of the light body.

Leaving the DNL Cap assembly attached to the poolside
, carefully coil up the 25’
of cord and disconnect the power supply from its mounted location. Lifting up and
slightly pulling forward on the power supply box does this.
6. Store in box. (Step 11)
Reinstallation of Light Unit
1. Follow the installation steps 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11.
Lamp Installation
1. Unplug Light unit from power source.
2. Locate the four (4) Pry Slots at the joint between the DNL Can and the DNL Cap

At this point, you have exposed a 12 volt 20 watt halogen bulb. The bulb is
attached to the socket by two male prongs extending from the bulb that connect
to two female ports on the socket.
4. Pull gently on the bulb to remove it.
5. Take new bulb and insert it into the socket. The tabs are universal. So there is no
right or wrong way of inserting the bulb into the socket. Push male end tabs, on
bulb, into the female ports on the socket.
6. Take the DNL Can and push it back onto the DNL Cap. Arrange the DNL Can so
that the cord hangs down perpendicular to the ground.
7. Plug the Light unit back into the power source
Important Safety Instructions
1. Light fixture is not intended as a step. Using it as a step may cause injury to
persons or damage to equipment.
2. Warning – Risk of electrical shock. Connect only to a grounded type
receptacle protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
3. For a unit that does not have an integral GFCI, contact a qualified electrician if
in doubt about whether or not a receptacle is protected by a GFCI
4. An extension cord should not be used.
5. The pool manufacturer determines the maximum water depth of lighting
fixture.
6. Do not install on Therapeutic Pools, Hydro massage Bathtubs, Spas, or Hot
tubs.
