4.4. Installing

To install the repeater:

1. Choose a place for installation, taking into account the signal strength in this place (see

section 4.3). It is recommended to orient the repeater during installation so that its an-

tenna is located vertically. Do not place repeater on or near metal surfaces (closer than
1m), or inside metal structures;

2. Open the cover of the repeater housing by unscrewing its fastening;
3. Fasten the repeater to the selected installation location using self-tapping screws (2

pcs.). through the holes in the repeater housing;

4. Insert the antenna in the terminal block with the marking  , passing its non-isolated

end through the hole in the housing. Fix the antenna in the terminal block;

5. Install the battery to the repeater observing polarity;

6. Connect the power wires to the  

AC

  terminal block. Use wires with a cross section of

0.75…1.5 mm

 in double insulation;

7. Close the repeater cover by tightening its screw;
8. Turn on the power to the repeater.

5. Maintenance

The product does not require maintenance.

6. Operating conditions

1. Repeater is designed for continuous operation.

2. Repeater shall be used at the temperature of –20°С to +45°С and relative humidity of 5% to

85%. The battery shall be used at the temperature of 0°С to +45°С.

3. If the transportation conditions differ from the operating conditions, then the repeater must

be kept in the operating conditions for 2…6 hours before switching on.

7. Storage

1. Storage temperature shall be of –50°C...+45°C at the relative humidity of 5% up to 98%.

2. During handling operations, transportation and storage in warehouses, boxes with repeaters

shall not be exposed to sharp bows. Stacking and fixing of the boxes to the transporter shall

not include their movement.

3. Repeater shall be stored in the manufacturer's package. Battery must be removed for the en-

tire storage period or insulator must be installed in the battery holder.

8. Transportation

1. Repeater transportation shall be carried out in the manufacturer's package.

2. Repeater is allowed to be transported by all types of enclosed transporters, subject to ob-

serving the shipping rules applicable for each type of transport.

3. Transportation temperature shall be of –50°C to +50°C at the relative humidity of 5% up to

98%.

9. Disposal

Repeater disposal shall be carried out according to electronic household appliance disposal

rules established by the legislation of the State, where the product is operated.
