STORING/ADJUSTING THE LENGTH OF THE ACTIVATION HANDLE
The activation handle can be set in two different length positions (illustration left and middle),
(S = SHORT; L = LONG)
.
Change the length of the grip only when the
CARTRIDGE HAS BEEN REMOVED
, otherwise it may
cause a failed or false activation.
Ensure the handle has been inserted into the feed channel (
J
) (as in the illustration below)
in the shoulder strap. (See page 37: check before each use).
WARNING!
In areas where you could put yourself and others at risk, you should always secure
your activation handle to prevent false activation. Do this by pushing the activation handle
(T
) up as far as it
will go and storing it in the activation handle garage (
K
). Completely close the activation handle garage (
K)
on the backpack shoulder strap using the zip (see illustration, right).
