WEARING THE BRACE FOR THE FIRST TIME
To put on the brace slide the patient’s arms through the shoulder straps (fig A).
Adjust the position of the shoulder straps using the Y-tab on the top end (fig B):
- Position the shoulder straps so that the padding protects the armpit.
- If they are too long, remove the Y-Velcro
® strap, cut it to the correct length
and reposition the Y-Velcro ® strap.
Fasten the snap-fit buckle at the front (fig C).
Adjust the length of the lower straps:
- Stretch the straps to fit the patient (fig D).
- If they are too long, remove the Y-Velcro
® strap, cut it to the correct length
and reposition the Y-Velcro ® strap (fig H + fig I).
Place the brace back on the patient and adjust the fit if necessary.
WEARING THE BRACE ONCE FITTED
Unfasten the snap-fit buckle.
To put on the brace slide the patient’s arms through the shoulder straps (fig E).
Pull the straps at the sides (fig F) and fasten them at the front with the snap-fit
buckle (fig G).
