10) Before replacing the cap, make sure the washer is still in it and the top edge of the cartridge is dust-free
(Figure 35).

11) Orient the cap as shown in Figure 36, then screw it clockwise onto the cartridge. Torque to hand-tight.
There must be a small amount of compression between the cap and the cartridge to compress a hidden
O-ring and form the seal.
Do not overtighten.

12) Reinstall the cartridge in the Fission Meter panel and turn it clockwise until hand-tight (Figure 37).
13) Use the humidity indicator removal tool and 1/2-inch box-end wrench to tighten the indicator an
additional 1/2-turn.
Do not overtighten.
