General
(1)
Purpose
(a)
The RC100 is the smallest and most basic version of the remote control panels that are
compatible with the KANNAD Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT). It is specially intended
for general aviation and its small dimensions also make it suitable for airline cabin
installations or cockpit retrofit.
(b)
The RC150 is a variant of the RC100. This version has a more rugged toggle switch.
(c)
The RC100 and RC150 permit remote control of the primary functions of the KANNAD ELTs
(Manual activation, Reset, Test, Monitoring).

(a)
The RC100 and RC150 are made of:

A self adhesive front plate (black with white inscriptions).

A three-position toggle switch with two locking positions and its red protective cap
(RC150 only).
