Fig. 3: BT Solenoid connectors
The installation is as follows:
The camera is installed on the inside of the right fork.
First the protective box section is angled so that the camera is parallel to
the fork, then it is fixed to the fork with 3 bolts as shown in figure 2.
Then the camera is inserted into the box section and both its mounting
holes are marked.
After these holes are drilled and tapped, the mastcable is guided through
the protective box section. The Female connector is fixed onto the cam-
era, and the camera is re-inserted into the tube and screwed to the fork.
A loop of cable allows for the movement of the sideshift function.
Then, the standard BT mastcable is removed from the mast and its sole-
noid connectors (see fig 3) are cut off with some
remaining cable.
Important
Roll out the mastcable entirely to remove kinks
before installing it in the mast of the truck.
The Orlaco mastcable (0301820) is placed in the mast instead.
The original BT springs are connected to the spring plates (0403390)
that are included at the mastcable (0301820), and both junctionboxes are
installed in the forkcarriage and in the reachwagon.
The connectors that were cut from the BT mastcable are now soldered
onto the wires of the junctionboxes and re-inserted into the solenoid
control connections.
From the junctionbox in the reachwagon (0404710), the 5-meter cable
(0304340) is guided under the battery compartment into the cabin and
connected to the Display 7” RLED, Art. no 0208901.
The monitor’s power wires are connected to the 48V/DC main power sup-
ply through a fuse.
