PREPARATION
This section contains information about setting up your instrument and preparing to play. Be sure
to go through this section carefully before using this instrument.
POWER SUPPLY
Your instrument will run from a power adapter (DC12V ). Plug the DC output cable from the
Power adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear panel of your instrument, then plug the Power
adapter (or the AC cable of the Power Adapter) into a convenient wall AC power socket.
USING HEADPHONES OR AN EXTERNAL SOUND SYSTEM
A standard pair of stereo headphones can be plugged into the PHONES socket for private
practice or late- night playing. The internal speaker system is automatically switched off, when a
pair of headphones are plugged into the PHONE socket.
The LINE OUT socket can be used to deliver the output of the sound to a keyboard amplifier,
stereo sound system, mixing console or tape recorder.
THE SUSTAIN PEDAL
An optional foot switch can be plugged into the rear-panel SUSTAIN PEDAL socket. The
Sustain Pedal is a damper pedal controlling sustain function. By pressing the pedal you can
sustain the notes after the keys are released. Don't press the pedal while inserting the plug into
the SUSTAIN PEDAL socket, or while turning the power on.
THE MUSIC STAND
Insert the music stand at the rear of the keyboard control panel.
