Congratulations on your purchase of a qual-
ity Orion field tripod! This sturdy aluminum tripod
provides solid support for binoculars, small tele-
scopes, still cameras, or video cameras. Designed
for use either indoors or outdoors, the Tritech II
features a smooth, two-way fluid pan head and
quick-release mounting shoe for convenient op-
eration. Please take a few minutes to review the
parts and features of the tripod before first use.
Care and Cleaning
Clean with mild detergent and a soft cloth. Use a soft
brush and air blower to remove sand and dust from lock-
ing threads and sliding sections. This tripod does not
require regular application of lubricant. Dry and/or clean
the tripod after use in wet, sandy, or dusty conditions.
Not recommended for use in salt water. Do not use in
temperatures lower than -22°F (-30°C). Do not exceed
the recommended load capacity.
